Power monitor for FOG machines
Via an external PC the power input of the axis drives of your FOG machine (gantry) is continuously measured and compared with the parameterized setpoints. A warning alarm is given in case of deviations and the respective message
is stored for later analysis. If required, the machine can be stopped if the power drain is too far beyond the limit, in order to prevent larger mechanical damage. Automatic axes measurement can be started via a command procedure, with the data being automatically stored.
These data can be analysed via a diagram; they can be printed and compared with other measurements. This is an ideal tool for preventive maintenance and the prevention of mechanical wear (guides, spindles, bearings etc).
